Legendary camshaft company Crane Cams appears to have gone out of business this week. The Daytona Beach News-Journal, is reporting the 56-year-old Daytona Beach, Fla., company has been shuttered and its workers laid off. Crane's parts have become synonymous with performance and have been used by A.J.
The Skoda Superb Estate
We got the launch of the Skoda Superb Estate at the Frankfurt Motor Show back in September, a month or so after Skoda did the usual tease with the Superb Estate. Actually, the headline is quite literal. It would appear that Ferrari is working on four wheel drive hybrid propulsion systems after plans submitted to the European Patent Office were uncovered by Autocar. It’s been known for some time that Ferrari has been working on Hybrid and 4WD systems, but these drawings show that Ferrari is in fact looking at a simpler system designed more to aid handling than to benefit the environment.
